After coming to the realization that if I didn’t get started soon, I would be left behind in the new waves of technology, I have finally decided to start a blog..! (pauses for applause) I’m not exactly sure what should be my first post, but I’ve got to start somewhere, right? So the best thing (next to sliced bread) I can think of is to upload some page designs I have done in the past with JMU’s student newspaper, The Breeze, and USA Today. (Constructive) criticism is more than welcomed.
Pretty layouts! I love the Jack Osbourne one and the one with the maps. I think your site looks very professional, and I love the big pictures. It will definitely help when you go to apply for jobs or grad school. Kudos!

Just wanted to say you’ve got a great start to your blog with some nice design work to show. I was the design director for The Breeze back in the late 80s and it’s great to see the way it’s progressed since then. Your blog will be a good place to show off great work as well as display some experiments to generate some discussion. I’d love to be able to view larger images of your pages, too.
