Please provide some feedback on Cilajet applied to your Civic. I saw that in your post in addition to your bi-weekly car washes. I was under teh impression that there was no need for frequent washes. Please explain. I just bought a 07 Accord ad was offered it, but haven’t had it applied yet and thinkinf of getting $$ back. Please assist. Thank you

Hi Sandra,

A Better Tint did a pretty good job, I’d say. They do add on their obnoxious white circular logo on the rear window, but I asked them to take it off and they did so promptly without leaving any residue. I remember paying around $200 with a coupon I found online by Googling it. I can’t really compare any tinting jobs, as this is my first and only, but I am pretty satisfied. I do, however, know that there are a lot of the other cooler tinting options out there, including ones with an icy blue or mirror finish, etc. My boyfriend is from the LA area and got his car done there with a cool blue-tone to it (goes well with his car). Hi Sally,
The aux port is right underneath the cigarette lighter, which is underneath the audio control area. Both lighter and aux port are black and in the far right upper corner in the empty bin area. Not the greatest description, but hope that helps. Otherwise, it should be labeled in the car’s manual. Gl!

I was thinking about taking my new 2008 Civic Hybrid to A Better Tint and Alarms and saw what you had posted about getting yours done. How did A Better Tint do for you on your Civic? I have heard good things about them so far. I really want to get a good tint done on my new Hybrid. Let me know.

I have gone through exactly what you have about picking a color out for my new civic and I am now waiting on a silver civic sedan to come in. I have paid a deposit down for the dealer to hold it for me. Thanks for your advice about the floor mats. I really wanted white, but it was not available at the dealership I am getting mine through with a gray inside, only the light tan. I wanted a darker color inside to not see stains as much. The black is a great color for this car. I am just not brave enough to get it. I am excited about gettting a honda period. I have never owned one, and did not realize what well made cars they are. Really great.

I think there is an available accessory for iPods that will allow you to control the music thru the built-in player of the Honda Civic …just forgot the name of that thingamajig … hehe …nice Ride …
